Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Portree, the largest town on the Isle of Skye. Take the A87 road heading south towards Kyle of Lochalsh. After approximately 20 miles, you will reach the junction with the A890. Turn right onto the A890 and continue for 5 miles until you reach the A896. Turn left onto the A896 towards Strathcarron. Continue on the A896 for about 10 miles. As you approach Strathcarron, you will see signs for Bealach na Bà. Follow the signs and turn left onto the B8070 road. Be aware that the last part of the journey includes steep gradients and hairpin bends, so drive carefully. There are no tolls or fees on this route.

To reach Bealach na Bà using public transport, take a bus from Portree to Broadford. From Broadford, transfer to a bus heading towards Strathcarron. The bus service may vary, so check the local timetable in advance. Once you arrive in Strathcarron, you will need to walk approximately 2 miles along the B8070 road to reach Bealach na Bà. Make sure you have a map handy, as there may be limited signage along the walking route. The bus fare will vary based on your starting point, so be prepared for a small cost for the bus rides.
