Car
From Portree, take the A87 road southwest towards Kyle of Lochalsh. After approximately 18 miles, merge onto the A890 towards Strathcarron. Continue on the A890 for about 6 miles until you reach the junction for the A896. Turn right onto the A896, and drive for another 8 miles until you reach Applecross. Once in Applecross, follow signs for Camusterrach. The gallery is located at Camusterrach, Applecross, Strathcarron IV54 8LU, which will be on your left.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transport, start from Portree and take the bus service towards Kyle of Lochalsh (check for the latest service schedule as it may vary). After arriving at Kyle of Lochalsh, you will need to transfer to a local bus heading towards Applecross. Please note that the bus service may be limited and it is recommended to check the schedule in advance. Once in Applecross, ask the driver or locals for directions to Camusterrach, where the Applecross Photographic Gallery is located.

Bicycle
For those adventurous enough to cycle, starting from Portree, take the A87 road towards Kyle of Lochalsh. This route is scenic but be prepared for hilly terrain. Once you reach the A890, follow it towards Strathcarron and then turn onto the A896. Cycling to Applecross will take approximately 2-3 hours depending on your fitness level. Upon reaching the village, navigate to Camusterrach for the gallery.

If you are staying nearby in Applecross, walking to the gallery is a delightful option. From the center of Applecross village, head towards Camusterrach along the coastal path. The walk is about 1 mile, offering beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Follow the signs for Camusterrach and you will reach the gallery easily.
