Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the village of Portree, the largest town on the Isle of Skye. Head southwest on the A87 towards Kyle of Lochalsh. After about 20 miles, take a right onto the A850 towards Dunvegan. Continue on this road for approximately 9 miles, then turn left onto the B884 towards Neist Point. Follow this road for about 5 miles until you reach the car park at Neist Point Cliff Lighthouse Viewpoint. There is no parking fee at the viewpoint.

To reach Neist Point Cliff Lighthouse Viewpoint using public transport, start from Portree. Take the bus service (the number 57 bus) to Dunvegan. From Dunvegan, you will need to arrange for a taxi to take you the remaining 5 miles to Neist Point, as public transport does not run directly to the viewpoint. Taxi fares may vary, so it's advisable to check local taxi services in advance. Once at the viewpoint, enjoy the scenic views and remember to check the bus schedule for your return trip.

For the more adventurous, if you are already at the nearby village of Glendale, you can hike to Neist Point. Follow the path from the village towards the coast, taking in the scenery along the way. It's about a 3-mile hike to the viewpoint, and while it can be steep in places, the views of the cliffs and lighthouse are worth the effort. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring water.
