From London, take a train from London Victoria Station to Rochester Station. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Rochester Station, exit the station and head to the bus stop located just outside. Take the Arriva bus number 191 towards Gravesend. This bus will take you directly to Cooling. You will need to get off at the stop labeled 'Cooling, Church.' From the bus stop, Cooling Castle is just a short 5-minute walk. Head down Cooling Road, and you will find Cooling Castle on your right.

Train and Walk
From London, take a train from London Charing Cross to Rochester Station. The trip takes about 50 minutes. After arriving at Rochester Station, exit and walk towards the High Street. From there, you can follow the signs to Cooling, which is approximately 2 miles away. It's a pleasant walk that will take about 40 minutes, following the Medway River and enjoying the scenery.

If you prefer to travel directly via bus, you can take the National Express coach service from London Victoria Coach Station to Rochester. The journey may take about 1.5 hours. Once in Rochester, you can catch the Arriva bus number 191 as mentioned earlier, to Cooling. Get off at 'Cooling, Church' and walk 5 minutes to Cooling Castle.
