Travel Guide to Trafalgar Tavern

Getting There

• Walking from Greenwich

  If you are in Greenwich, start at the Greenwich DLR station. Head southeast on the Cutty Sark Gardens towards the river. Continue along the Thames Path, passing the Cutty Sark and the National Maritime Museum. Follow the path until you reach the Old Royal Naval College, then continue along the riverside until you see the Trafalgar Tavern situated on Park Row. The walk should take approximately 20-25 minutes.

• Bus from Central London

  From Trafalgar Square, catch the bus number 53 or 188 towards Bexleyheath or Woolwich. Get off at the 'Greenwich, Nelson Road' stop. From there, walk south on Nelson Road, turn right onto Park Row, and you will find the Trafalgar Tavern on your left. The entire journey will take about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic.

• Train from London Bridge

  Take the Southeastern train from London Bridge Station to Greenwich. The journey takes about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Greenwich Station, exit the station and walk towards the Cutty Sark. From there, follow the riverside path along the Thames towards the Trafalgar Tavern, which is located on Park Row. The walk will take approximately 15 minutes.

• Riverboat from Westminster

  Catch a riverboat from Westminster Pier heading towards Greenwich. Disembark at the Greenwich Pier. From there, walk towards the Cutty Sark and follow the riverside path until you reach the Trafalgar Tavern on Park Row. The total travel time, including the boat ride and walk, will be around 40-50 minutes.
