Getting There

• Walking

  If you are already in Greenwich, the National Maritime Museum Gardens are easily accessible on foot. Start at the Cutty Sark, a famous clipper ship. From the Cutty Sark, head north along Greenwich Pier and take the pathway that leads you up towards the National Maritime Museum. Continue straight until you reach the museum entrance. The gardens are located right beside the museum, where you can enjoy the beautiful green space.

• Bus

  If you're further away, you can take a bus to the National Maritime Museum. Catch bus number 188 or 199 from any of the stops in Greenwich town center. Ensure you get off at the 'National Maritime Museum' stop. The gardens are located right next to the bus stop, and you can easily enter through the museum's main gates.

• Riverboat

  For a scenic route, consider taking a riverboat from Central London to Greenwich. Take the Thames Clippers service from central locations like Westminster or London Bridge. Disembark at the Greenwich Pier. From there, walk north along the riverfront, and you will soon see the National Maritime Museum ahead. The gardens are adjacent to the museum.

• DLR (Docklands Light Railway)

  Another option is to take the DLR to Cutty Sark for Maritime Greenwich station. From there, it's a short walk to the National Maritime Museum Gardens. Exit the station and head towards the Cutty Sark, then follow the pathway leading north towards the museum. The gardens are right next to the museum entrance.
