From Manchester City Centre, walk to Manchester Piccadilly Station. Once there, board a train heading to Liverpool Lime Street. The train journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Upon arrival at Liverpool Lime Street, exit the station and head towards the main road. Turn right onto Lime Street and continue straight until you reach the junction with St James Road. Turn left onto St James Road and walk straight until you see Cathedral Gate. The Church of England Cathedral will be on your right.

From Manchester City Centre, walk to the nearest bus stop at Piccadilly Gardens. Take bus number 250, which goes directly to Liverpool. The journey takes around 1 hour. Once you arrive in Liverpool, get off at the stop nearest to St James Road. From there, walk straight towards St James Road, turn left, and continue walking until you reach Cathedral Gate, where the Church of England Cathedral is located.

Head to the National Express coach station located at Chorlton Street in Manchester. Purchase a ticket for a coach heading to Liverpool. The journey will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Liverpool, disembark at the coach station and head towards the main road.
