Car
If you are travelling by car from Nairnshire, start on the A96 heading towards Inverness. Continue for approximately 12 miles until you reach the roundabout at the Inverness Retail Park. Take the first exit onto the A82 (signposted for Fort William). After about 1.5 miles, take the exit onto the A9 towards the city center. Follow signs for the A9 and merge onto it. After about 2 miles, take the exit for the B861 towards Dores. Stay on the B861 until you see signs for Craig Phadrig. Turn onto Overton Ave, and you will find the parking area at the entrance to the forest park. Note that parking may incur a fee, so be sure to carry some change or check for payment options.

To reach Craig Phadrig via public transportation, first take a local bus from Nairn to Inverness. Buses operated by Stagecoach run frequently; check their schedule online for the latest times. Once you arrive at Inverness bus station, you can either walk or take a taxi to Craig Phadrig. If walking, head south on Academy St towards the River Ness, cross the river, and then follow the signs or use a mapping app to guide you to Overton Ave. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles and should take about 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the bus station directly to Craig Phadrig, which will be quicker and more convenient, especially if you have luggage.
