From Alnwick, head northeast on the A1068 road towards Chillingham. Continue on the A1068 for about 7 miles until you reach the village of Chillingham. As you enter the village, look for signs to Chillingham Castle. The castle is located on the left-hand side of the road, and there is a parking area available for visitors.

If you are taking public transportation, start by taking a bus from Alnwick to Chillingham. The bus service operated by Arriva runs between Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed, with stops in Chillingham. Check the bus schedule for the latest timings. Once you arrive at the Chillingham stop, Chillingham Castle is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Head southwest on the main road, and you will see the castle ahead.
