Car
From Kirkwall, take the A961 road towards St. Mary's and Westray. Continue on A961 until you reach the junction with the B9052. Turn right onto B9052 and follow the signs to Twatt. After approximately 10 miles, you will arrive in the village of Twatt. The entrance to HMS TERN (RNAS Twatt) will be on your right. Parking is available nearby.
Public Transportation
From Kirkwall, take the bus service operated by Orkney Islands Council towards St. Mary's. Ensure to check the current timetable, as services may vary. Disembark at the Twatt stop. From there, it is a short walk of about 1 mile (approximately 20 minutes) to HMS TERN (RNAS Twatt). Follow the signs towards the historical landmark.
