From the city center of Oxford (e.g., near the Ashmolean Museum), head east on Beaumont Street towards St. Aldate's. Continue straight onto St. Aldate's Street and cross over to the other side of the road at the traffic lights. Follow the road as it bends right and becomes St. Ebbes Street. Continue along St. Ebbes Street until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the A420 (Oxford Road) and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the junction with the canal. At this point, you will see signs for the Oxford Canal.

If you are near the train station, exit the station and turn right. Walk along the station road until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Botley Road. Continue straight for about 15 minutes. Look for signs directing you to the Oxford Canal, which will lead you to a path beside the canal.

From the city center (e.g., near the Carfax Tower), take bus number 5 or 6 towards Blackbird Leys or Rose Hill. Get off at the 'Canal Street' stop. From there, walk north on Canal Street until you reach the Oxford Canal. It should take about 10 minutes to reach the canal from the bus stop.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike rental services in Oxford. Head towards the city center and follow the signposts for the Oxford Canal. The canal path is accessible from several points, including along the A420 or from the train station area.
