If you're driving, start by entering Buxton, SK17 0SU into your GPS. From Buxton, head south on the A515 for approximately 1.5 miles. Look for signs for the A53 towards Leek. After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto the B5053 towards Milldale. Follow this road for about 2 miles. You will reach a small parking area known as 'The Roaches' car park, which is a popular starting point for hiking to Lud's Church. Please note that there may be a small parking fee, so bring change or check for payment options.

If you prefer public transportation, take a train to Buxton Railway Station. From there, you can catch the High Peak Buses service 58, which runs towards Leek.
