Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, you can reach Fishguard Bay by taking the A487 road. From towns such as Haverfordwest, head northwest on the A40 towards Fishguard. Continue on the A40 until you reach the roundabout at Fishguard, where you will take the second exit onto the A487. Follow this road for about 2 miles, and you will arrive at Fishguard Bay. Parking may be found along the coastal road, but check for any parking fees that may apply.

• Bus

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from any major Pembrokeshire town (like Haverfordwest or Tenby) to Fishguard. The bus service is operated by the Pembrokeshire County Council and typically runs several times a day. Once you arrive at Fishguard bus station, you will need to walk approximately 1.2 miles to Fishguard Bay. Follow the signs to the coast, or use a map app for the most direct walking route. Please check the bus schedules in advance for accurate times.

• Train

  If you prefer traveling by train, take a train to Fishguard & Goodwick station, which is the nearest station to Fishguard Bay. Depending on your starting point, you may need to change trains at least once. Upon arrival at the station, it's about a 20-minute walk to Fishguard Bay. Head southwest on Station Road, turn right onto Goodwick Road, and follow the signs to the bay. Ensure to check the train schedules ahead of time, as services may vary.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, consider cycling to Fishguard Bay. There are scenic cycling routes throughout Pembrokeshire. Use local cycling maps to plan your route, as some paths are more bike-friendly than others. Once you arrive, you can park your bicycle at designated bike racks near the bay.
