If you are traveling by car, head towards Lairg from your starting point in Ross-shire. Follow the A839 road towards Lairg, which is approximately 20 miles from Invergordon or Tain. Once you reach Lairg, look for signs directing you to the Falls of Shin. The falls are located about 5 miles south of Lairg on the A836. You should see a sign for the Falls of Shin, turn right onto a narrow road leading you directly to the car park. Parking is free.
