After about an hour, take the exit for the A86 towards Kingussie and Newtonmore. Drive through Newtonmore, and follow the signs for Aberarder. The entrance to Creag Meagaidh National Nature Reserve is located at Aberarder, Newtonmore PH20 1BX. There is limited parking available at the entrance, and there is no parking fee.

For those using public transportation, take a train to Kingussie Station from Inverness or Edinburgh. From Kingussie, you can catch a local bus to Newtonmore. Once in Newtonmore, it's about a 2-mile walk to Aberarder where the entrance to Creag Meagaidh National Nature Reserve is located.
