If you are driving from Edinburgh, take the M90 motorway towards Perth. Merge onto the A9 towards Inverness. Continue on the A9 for approximately 60 miles, then take the exit for the A85 towards Crianlarich. Follow the A85 until it merges into the A82, then continue on the A82 for about 10 miles. Look for the A86 exit towards Newtonmore. Once on the A86, continue for approximately 10 miles until you reach the village of Laggan. From Laggan, follow the signs for Loch Ericht. The scenic drive will take you along the shores of the loch. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as there are limited services available along this route.
