Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from central Perth, take the A9 northbound. Continue on the A9 until you reach the junction for the A924 towards Pitlochry. Follow the A924 and then turn left onto the A827. Keep following the signs towards Blair Atholl. The entrance to Blair Castle & Gardens will be on your right. There is parking available on-site, but be prepared for a parking fee of around £3 for the day.

    From Perth, you can take a bus service, such as the 'Stagecoach' buses, that go directly to Pitlochry. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Pitlochry bus station, you can take a local bus or a taxi to Blair Castle & Gardens. The local bus service may not run frequently, so check the timetable in advance. A taxi from Pitlochry to Blair Castle will cost approximately £10-£15.
