Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Fort William, which is well-connected by the A82 from cities like Inverness or Glasgow. Once you reach Fort William, follow signs for the A82 towards the south. After approximately 2 miles, take the exit onto the A86 towards Spean Bridge. Continue on the A86 for about 1.5 miles, then turn left onto the B8004 towards Torlundy. Follow this road for another 2 miles until you see the signs for Nevis Range Mountain Resort on your right. There is ample parking available at the resort, but parking fees may apply, so be prepared with cash or a card.

• Public Transport

  If you're using public transportation, you can take a train to Fort William from cities like Glasgow or Edinburgh. Once you arrive at Fort William train station, you can catch a local bus to Nevis Range. Look for the bus service that runs towards the Nevis Range or the surrounding areas; these are usually marked with 'Nevis Range' on the front. The bus ride takes about 15-20 minutes. Note that bus schedules may vary, so check the latest timetable in advance. You may need to purchase a ticket from the driver or online depending on the service.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route from Fort William, consider taking a taxi. Taxis are available at the Fort William train station and can take you directly to Nevis Range Mountain Resort. The journey should take around 10-15 minutes and cost approximately £10-£15. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

• Cycling

  For the adventurous, cycling to Nevis Range is a great option. If you're in Fort William, you can rent a bike from local rental shops. From Fort William, follow the A82 south, then take the B8004 towards Torlundy. The ride is about 4 miles and offers beautiful views. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic laws. There may be a small fee for bike storage at the resort.
