If you're driving to The Dog Collar Museum, start from the center of Southend-on-Sea. Head northwest on the A127 toward the A13. Continue on the A127 for about 10 miles until you reach the junction with the M25. Merge onto the M25 towards Dartford. After about 5 miles, take the exit for the A20 towards Maidstone. Continue on the A20, then take the exit onto the A229 towards Maidstone. Follow the signs for Maidstone. Once in Maidstone, take the A274 toward Broomfield. The museum is located at 2 Broomfield Road, which you will see on your left. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that there may be parking fees.

To reach The Dog Collar Museum using public transportation, start at Southend-on-Sea railway station. Take a train towards London Fenchurch Street. Change at London Bridge for a train to Maidstone East. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Maidstone East, exit the station and take a bus or taxi to Broomfield. If you choose the bus, take the Arriva Bus service 101 or 102 towards Broomfield. Alight at the stop closest to 2 Broomfield Road. The museum is within walking distance from the bus stop.
