Car
If you are driving from Stafford, take the A518 towards Uttoxeter. Continue on the A518 until you reach the A50. Merge onto the A50 towards Derby. Take the exit toward A511/Burton upon Trent and merge onto the A511. Continue straight onto the A511 and follow signs for Burton upon Trent. Once in Burton, follow signs for Tutbury Castle. The castle is located at Castle St, Burton upon Trent, Tutbury DE13 9JF. Parking is available nearby, but be sure to check for any parking fees.

To reach Tutbury Castle via public transport, take a train from Stafford Station to Burton upon Trent Station. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Burton upon Trent Station, exit and take bus number 4 or 4A towards Tutbury. This bus will take you directly to the village. Get off at the stop closest to Castle St. Walk along Castle St to reach Tutbury Castle. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance and have some change for the fare, which is usually around £2-£3.
