Travel Guide to Kensington Memorial Park

Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to Kensington Memorial Park located at St Mark's Rd, London W10 6BZ. From the center of Sussex, take the A23 towards London. Continue on the A23 until you reach the M25. Merge onto the M25 and follow signs for the M4 towards Central London. Take the exit for the A4 towards the West End, and follow it until you reach the A40. Continue on the A40, then take the exit onto the A402 towards Kensington. Follow the A402 which will lead you to St Mark's Rd. There is street parking available, but please be mindful of parking regulations which may incur costs.

• Public Transportation

  For public transportation, head to your nearest train station and take a train to London. If you’re near Brighton, take the Thameslink train to London Blackfriars or London Bridge. From either of these stations, switch to the London Underground. Take the Circle or District Line to Edgware Road station, then change to the Bakerloo Line towards Harrow & Wealdstone and get off at Queen's Park station. From Queen's Park, it's about a 10-minute walk to Kensington Memorial Park. Follow the signs towards St Mark's Rd.

• Bus

  If you prefer buses, you can catch a National Express or local bus service from various points in Sussex to London. Once in London, use the local bus routes. For instance, take a bus to Paddington Station and then switch to bus number 36 or 328, which will take you close to Kensington Memorial Park. Make sure to check the Transport for London (TfL) website for bus schedules and routes. Note that you will need an Oyster card or contactless payment for bus fares in London.
