Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Sutherland, take the A9 southbound towards Inverness. Continue on the A9 for approximately 90 miles until you reach the outskirts of Perth. Merge onto the M90 motorway towards Edinburgh. After about 40 miles, take the M1 exit towards London. Continue on the M1 for approximately 160 miles. Once you approach London, follow signs for the A503 towards Elephant and Castle. Finally, follow the A201 to the South Bank area. The BFI IMAX is located at 1 Charlie Chaplin Walk, SE1 8XR. Parking may be limited in the area, so consider using nearby public parking facilities. Be aware that parking fees may apply.

  From Sutherland, take a train from the nearest station, likely Lairg, to Inverness. From Inverness, board a train heading to London. You will need to change trains, typically at either Edinburgh or Glasgow. Once you arrive in London, take the London Underground (Tube) to Waterloo station. From Waterloo, it's a short walk to the BFI IMAX at 1 Charlie Chaplin Walk, SE1 8XR.
