Walking
From the city center of Durham, head towards the Durham Cathedral. Exit the cathedral grounds and proceed down South Road towards the train station. Once you reach the train station, take the train to London King's Cross. From King's Cross, take the London Underground (Tube) to Waterloo Station (the Bakerloo Line). Upon arriving at Waterloo, follow the signs for the Southbank Centre, which is located just a short walk along Belvedere Road.

Start at the Durham Bus Station located in the city center. Take the National Express or another coach service that goes to London. Once you arrive at Victoria Coach Station in London, walk to Victoria Station and take the Tube to Waterloo Station (Circle or District Line).
