Travel Guide to Greenwich Market

Getting There

• Car

  From Sutherland, head south on the A9 towards Inverness. Continue on the A9 until you reach the M74. Merge onto the M74 towards Glasgow. Continue on the M74, then take the exit onto the M8 towards Edinburgh. Follow the M8 until you can merge onto the M11 towards London. Once in London, follow signs for the A2 towards Greenwich. Take the exit for Greenwich and follow signs to Greenwich Market. Parking is available nearby, but be aware of parking fees that may apply.

• Train

  From Sutherland, take a train to Inverness Station. From Inverness, board a train to London King's Cross. Once in London, transfer to the London Underground and take the Northern Line to London Bridge. From London Bridge, take the Southeastern train towards Dartford and get off at Greenwich Station. From Greenwich Station, it’s a short 15-minute walk to Greenwich Market. Be sure to check train schedules for times and ticket costs.

• Bus

  Take a local bus from Sutherland to Inverness. Once you arrive in Inverness, catch a National Express or Megabus service to London. After arriving in London, you can take the Underground to Greenwich. Take the Jubilee Line to North Greenwich, then transfer to a local bus or walk approximately 20 minutes to reach Greenwich Market. • Combination of Train and Bus

  Start by taking a train from Sutherland to Inverness. Once in Inverness, catch a train to London. Upon arrival at London Paddington Station, take the Underground to Canary Wharf and switch to the Jubilee Line towards Stratford. Get off at North Greenwich Station. From there, you can either walk for about 20 minutes or take a local bus to Greenwich Market. Make sure to account for possible ticket costs and travel time.
