    If you're traveling by car, head towards Wakefield. Pugneys Country Park is located at Asdale Rd, Denby Dale Rd, Wakefield WF2 7EQ. From the M1 motorway, take junction 39 and follow signs for Wakefield (A636). Continue on the A636 until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Denby Dale Road (A636). After about 1 mile, turn left onto Asdale Road. The park entrance will be on your left. There is free parking available on-site.

    For those using public transportation, take a train to Wakefield Westgate Station from major cities like Leeds or Sheffield. Upon arrival at Wakefield Westgate, exit the station and head to the nearby bus stop. Take the number 196 bus towards Wakefield and get off at the 'Pugneys Country Park' stop.
