After approximately 6 miles, turn onto the B6160 towards Malham Village. Continue through the village and follow signs for Malham Tarn. There is a small parking area near the tarn, but be aware that there may be parking fees. The parking area is located at coordinates 54.0967, -2.1637.

If you are using public transportation, take a train to Settle station, which is well served by the northern rail network. From Settle, you can catch the DalesBus service (seasonal) that operates to Malham. The bus journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Malham village, you can either walk to Malham Tarn (approximately 1.5 miles) by following the signs for the tarn, or check if there are any local taxis available.
