    To reach Cabo Polonio National Park from Quebrada de los Cuervos National Park, start by heading southwest on Route 8 (Ruta 8) towards the town of Lascano. After approximately 35 km, take a left onto Route 9 (Ruta 9) toward the coast. Continue on Route 9 for about 60 km until you reach the junction with Route 10 (Ruta 10). Turn left onto Route 10 and continue driving for another 30 km until you reach the entrance of Cabo Polonio National Park. Please note that there is a toll on Route 9, so keep some local currency handy.

  • Public Transportation

    If you prefer to use public transportation, take a bus from the nearby town of Treinta y Tres to the city of Rocha. From Rocha, transfer to a bus heading to Cabo Polonio. The buses from Rocha to Cabo Polonio operate regularly throughout the day, but it is advisable to check the schedule in advance, especially during the off-peak season. The total fare for the bus journey from Treinta y Tres to Cabo Polonio will be approximately 300 UYU. Keep in mind the buses will drop you off at the entrance of Cabo Polonio National Park, and from there, you will need to take a 4x4 vehicle (approximately 200 UYU) to reach the main area of Cabo Polonio.
