Car
Start from the Arches National Park Visitor Center, located at 2282 S. 3000 E., Moab, UT. Head east on Arches Entrance Road for approximately 5 miles until you reach the Fiery Furnace Junction. Continue straight onto the main park road, following the signs towards Delicate Arch. After 1.5 miles, you will reach the parking area for the Delicate Arch trailhead. From here, park your car and prepare for a hike.
Hiking
From the Delicate Arch trailhead, follow the Delicate Arch Trail for approximately 3 miles round trip. This trail will take you through beautiful landscapes and culminate at the stunning Delicate Arch. Once you reach the arch, you will have views of the surrounding area. To get to Dark Angel, continue past Delicate Arch on the same trail. After you pass Delicate Arch, the trail will lead you towards Dark Angel. The hike to Dark Angel is an additional 1.5 miles from Delicate Arch, making it a total of about 5.5 miles round trip. Make sure to carry enough water and wear sturdy hiking boots.
Public Transportation
Currently, there is no public transportation directly available within Arches National Park. Visitors can use shuttle services from Moab to the park entrance, but they will still need a car or plan to hike to reach Dark Angel. It is recommended to check with local shuttle services for information on their routes and schedules. Prices for shuttle services vary, so plan accordingly.
