Car
If you are driving, start by heading towards the Arches National Park entrance from the Visitor Center. Once inside, continue on the main park road. Follow the signs for Delicate Arch, which is located approximately 18 miles from the entrance. You will pass several scenic viewpoints along the way, including Park Avenue and the La Sal Mountains Viewpoint. When you reach the Wolfe Ranch parking area, park your car. From there, you will need to hike to the arch.
Public Transportation
Currently, there is no public transportation directly to Delicate Arch within Arches National Park. However, you can take a shuttle service from Moab to the park entrance. Once at the entrance, you will need to walk or use a bicycle rental service to reach the Wolfe Ranch parking area, which is the starting point for the hike to Delicate Arch. The hike itself is about 3 miles round trip and takes roughly 2-3 hours.
Hiking
From the Wolfe Ranch parking area, follow the well-marked trail leading to Delicate Arch. The trail is moderately strenuous and involves some elevation gain. It is approximately 1.5 miles to the arch, so be prepared for a bit of a climb. The trail includes rocky sections and may have steep drop-offs, so take your time and watch your footing. Once you reach Delicate Arch, enjoy the stunning views and take plenty of photos!
