Getting There

• Car

  If you are in Canyonlands National Park and want to visit Arches National Park, start by heading southeast on UT-313 E from the Island in the Sky district. The entrance to the park is located at 38.7328166 latitude and -109.5746222 longitude. Be prepared to pay an entrance fee, which is currently $30 per vehicle, valid for 7 days.

  While there is no direct public transportation from Canyonlands to Arches National Park, you can take a shuttle from Moab. First, find your way to Moab, approximately 30 minutes south of Canyonlands via car. In Moab, local shuttle services like the Moab Adventure Center or other tour operators offer day trips to Arches National Park. Prices for these shuttles can vary, typically starting around $80 per person for a round trip, which includes transportation and guided tours.

  For the adventurous, consider biking from Canyonlands to Arches. Start at the Island in the Sky Visitor Center and take the same route as the car traffic, heading southeast on UT-313 E to US-191 S. The total distance is approximately 24 miles, which can be challenging due to elevation changes. Make sure to carry plenty of water and snacks, as well as a bike repair kit. There are no bike rentals directly available at Canyonlands, so ensure your bike is in good condition before starting.
