Car
From the nearest major hub in Dixie National Forest, head south on Highway 12 towards the town of Cannonville. Follow Highway 12 for approximately 25 miles until you reach the intersection with Kodachrome Basin Road. Turn left onto Kodachrome Basin Road and continue for about 5 miles. The park entrance will be on your right. Please note that a daily entrance fee of $10 per vehicle is required at the entrance.
Public Transportation
Currently, public transportation options directly to Kodachrome Basin State Park are limited. However, you can take a Greyhound or local bus service to the town of Cannonville. From Cannonville, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach the park, as it is approximately 5 miles away from the town center. Expect fare costs to vary based on the provider and distance.
