If you are starting from downtown Escalante, head west on Main Street (UT-12) from the intersection at 100 East. Continue walking for approximately 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants on your right. Look for the Escalante Interagency Visitor Center, which is located at 755 W Main St, on your left. It is a single-story building with a sign indicating its presence. The walk should take about 10-15 minutes.
Biking
For those with bicycles, start at the Escalante River Trailhead, which is about 1 mile east of the visitor center. Ride west along the bike path that runs parallel to Main Street (UT-12). As you approach downtown, merge onto Main Street and continue for another 0.5 miles. The Escalante Interagency Visitor Center will be on your left at 755 W Main St. This bike ride should take about 10-15 minutes.
Public Transit
While public transit options are limited in Escalante, you can check local bus schedules if available. If you find a local shuttle or bus service, board the one heading towards Main Street. Request to be dropped off at the stop closest to the Escalante Interagency Visitor Center. The center is located at 755 W Main St, which is centrally located and should be easy to spot.
