Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Blanding, Utah. From the Flaming Gorge area, take US-191 South for approximately 60 miles until you reach the junction with UT-95. Turn left onto UT-95 East, and continue for about 15 miles. Then, turn right onto US-191 South again, and follow it for about 10 miles. Once in Blanding, turn left onto 400 N. The Edge of the Cedars State Park Museum will be on your left at 660 W 400 N. There is parking available at the museum.

• Public Transportation

  Currently, public transportation options around Flaming Gorge and to Blanding are limited. The nearest major city with public transport is Moab. If you are using public transit from Moab, you would need to take a Greyhound bus to Blanding. Once you arrive at the Blanding bus station, it’s about a 1-mile walk to the museum. You can head west on Main St, then turn left onto 400 N. The museum will be on your right at 660 W 400 N. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may not run frequently.

  For a more convenient option, consider using a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) from your location within the Flaming Gorge area to Edge of the Cedars State Park Museum in Blanding.
