From the Island in the Sky Visitor Center, head southeast on the Grand View Point Road for about 12 miles. Turn left onto UT-211. Continue on UT-211 for approximately 18 miles until you reach Newspaper Rock State Historical Monument, which will be on your right. Look for a designated parking area.

From the Needles District Visitor Center, head northeast on UT-211 toward Monticello. After driving approximately 22 miles, you will arrive at Newspaper Rock State Historical Monument. The monument will be on your left side, and there will be parking available.
