Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the Zion Canyon Visitor Center located at 1166 Zion Park Blvd, Springdale, UT 84767. From the Visitor Center, head east on Zion Park Blvd for approximately 1 mile until you reach the entrance to Zion National Park. After entering the park, continue on the Scenic Drive for about 5 miles. Look for the parking area at the end of the Scenic Drive (The Temple of Sinawava) where you can park your car. Note that the Scenic Drive is closed to private vehicles during the peak season (mid-March to late November), so you will need to use the Zion Shuttle system during this time.

Zion Shuttle
If you are visiting during the peak season, take the Zion Shuttle from the Visitor Center. Board the shuttle and ride to the last stop, which is the Temple of Sinawava. The shuttle operates frequently, and you can check the current schedule at the Visitor Center. Once you arrive at the Temple of Sinawava, follow the Riverside Walk trail for approximately 1 mile to the entrance of the Keyhole Canyon. The trail is paved and accessible.

From the Riverside Walk, you will reach the entrance to Keyhole Canyon. The hike into Keyhole Canyon requires scrambling and navigating rocky terrain. Ensure you have proper hiking gear, including sturdy shoes, and carry plenty of water. This part of the hike can be challenging, and assistance may be required for some sections. Plan to spend some time exploring and enjoy the stunning views.

Costs
Entrance to Zion National Park requires a fee. As of October 2023, the entrance fee is $35 per vehicle, valid for seven days. If you plan to use the shuttle, the shuttle service is included in the park entrance fee during the peak season.
