Walking
Start at the center of Mt. Carmel, near the Mt. Carmel Visitor Center. Head west on Main Street (also called Highway 9) toward the Zion National Park entrance. It is approximately a 2-mile walk. Follow the road as it turns into the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating the entrance to Zion National Park.

Check for the local shuttle service that operates in the Zion National Park area. From Mt. Carmel, you may need to walk to the nearest shuttle stop that services the park. Once on the shuttle, inform the driver that you wish to go to the Zion Canyon Visitor Center. This will drop you off at the main hub from where you can explore further.
