If you are traveling by car, start from the Zion National Park Visitor Center, which is the main entry point to the park. From the Visitor Center, head south on Zion Park Blvd (Route 9) for about 1.5 miles. Look for the sign indicating The Grotto Picnic Area on your left. There is a parking lot available at The Grotto where you can park your vehicle. Note that parking might be limited during peak season, so arriving early is advisable.

Shuttle Bus
If you prefer to use the shuttle bus service, which is a popular option during the busy season (March to late November), catch the shuttle from the Zion National Park Visitor Center. The shuttle stop is located right in front of the Visitor Center. Board the shuttle and ride it to the 'The Grotto' stop. This journey takes approximately 20-25 minutes. The shuttles run frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait long. Once you arrive at The Grotto, you will see the picnic area nearby.
