If you're driving to Dutchman Arch, start from the town of Castle Dale, Utah. Head east on UT-29 for approximately 20 miles until you reach the junction with UT-10. Turn left onto UT-10 and drive for about 8 miles. Look for the signed turnoff for the San Rafael Swell area, which will lead you onto a dirt road (usually well-maintained). Follow this road for about 6 miles until you reach the parking area for Dutchman Arch. Make sure your vehicle is suitable for dirt roads, as some areas may be rough.

Public transportation options are limited in this remote area. You can take a Greyhound bus to Price, Utah, and from there, you may need to arrange for a local taxi or rideshare service to reach Castle Dale. Once in Castle Dale, follow the driving instructions provided above. After arriving at the parking area, you will need to hike approximately 1 mile along a well-marked trail to reach Dutchman Arch. Be sure to wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring plenty of water.
