Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by heading northeast on Highway 24 from the town of Green River. Continue for approximately 40 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 70. Turn left onto Highway 70 and drive for about 10 miles. Look for a sign for Spotted Wolf Canyon shortly after. Turn right onto a dirt road that leads into the canyon area. Be aware that the road may require a high-clearance vehicle depending on recent weather conditions.

• Public Transportation + Hiking

  For those relying on public transportation, take a Greyhound or a local bus to Green River. From there, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare to get to Highway 24. Once you are dropped off near Highway 24, you will need to hike approximately 2 miles northeast to reach Spotted Wolf Canyon. Ensure you have adequate supplies and a map, as the trail may not be marked.

• Biking

  If you're an adventurous cyclist, starting from the town of Hanksville, bike along Highway 24 heading east. This route is approximately 30 miles and will lead you close to Spotted Wolf Canyon. Once you reach the intersection with the dirt road leading into the canyon, you can secure your bike and take a short hike to the canyon entrance. Be prepared for varying terrain and bring plenty of water.
