Car
From any point in Uintah Basin, take US-40 E towards Vernal. Continue on US-40 E for about 30 miles. At the junction with US-191 N, take the exit towards Dutch John. Turn left onto UT-44 E and follow it for approximately 10 miles. You will see signs for the John Jarvie Historic Ranch. Turn left onto Browns Park Rd, and after about 1 mile, you will reach the ranch. There is no entrance fee for the ranch.

Take the Uintah Transportation bus service from various locations in Uintah Basin towards Vernal. Once you reach Vernal, you will need to transfer to a taxi service to Dutch John. The taxi will cost approximately $50-$70 depending on the distance. Request the driver to take you directly to John Jarvie Historic Ranch located at Browns Park Rd, Dutch John, UT 84023.
