Walking
From the center of Itchan Kala, start at the iconic Kalta Minor Minaret. Head east towards the main entrance gate, the Ata-Darvoza. After passing through the gate, continue straight for about 200 meters. You will see the towering walls of the ancient city on your left. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with the main street, then turn left. Follow this road for approximately 300 meters, and you will reach Bakcha Darvoza, located at coordinates 41.3816281, 60.3612112.

If you are starting from the Tashkent Street (the main thoroughfare in Itchan Kala), walk towards the west until you reach the historic Juma Mosque. From there, head south through the narrow streets, immersing yourself in the local architecture. After passing several historical sites, including the Pakhlavan Makhmud Mausoleum, turn right at the first intersection. Continue for another 150 meters, and you will arrive at Bakcha Darvoza.
