From Samarkand, you can take a shared taxi or a marshrutka (minibus) heading towards Shahrisabz. These can be found at the main taxi stand near Registan Square. From there, you may have to walk about 15 minutes to reach the maqbarasi, following the main road and asking locals for directions as needed.
