Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Registan Square, head east towards Tashkent Road. Continue walking straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Bukhara Road. Turn left onto Bukhara Road and walk for another 500 meters. You will see the entrance to the Shahi Zinda Elite Cemetery on your right. The cemetery is a short walk from the main road.

    From the Bibi-Khanym Mosque, exit the mosque grounds and head northwest towards the intersection with Tashkent Road. Turn right onto Tashkent Road and continue for approximately 800 meters. Turn left onto Bukhara Road and walk for 500 meters until you see the entrance to Shahi Zinda Elite Cemetery on your right.

    Starting from the Samarkand Train Station, exit the station and head north toward the central area of Samarkand. Walk approximately 1.5 km along the main road, which will lead you through city streets.
