Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the central area of Samarkand, head towards Registan Street. From the Shah-i-Zinda complex, walk south on the main road (Shahrisabz Street) for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Registan Street. Turn left onto Registan Street, and continue straight for approximately 500 meters. You will see Registan Park on your right, marked by its beautiful entrance.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in the city center. Start at the central square (Amir Timur Square) and head south on Shahrisabz Street. After about 1 km, turn left onto Registan Street. Continue cycling straight for another 500 meters until you reach Registan Park on your right side.

    Look for a local minibus (marshrutka) that heads towards the Registan area. You can catch one from any of the main bus stops in the city center, like the one near the Bukhara Gate.
