Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Registan Square, walk towards the main entrance of the Registan complex. From there, head east along Registan Street (Registan St). You will see the Ulugh Beg Madrasa on your left side after about 200 meters. The impressive facade and intricate tile work will be visible from the street.

  • Walking

    If you are at Shah-i-Zinda, start by heading southwest towards the intersection of Shah-i-Zinda Street and Registan Street. Turn left onto Registan Street and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and cafes. The Ulugh Beg Madrasa will be on your right side, just after you pass the intersection with Bukhara Street.

    If you are at the Bibi-Khanym Mosque, exit the mosque and head northwest on Bibi-Khanym Street towards Registan Street. Turn right onto Registan Street and walk for approximately 1 kilometer. The Ulugh Beg Madrasa will be on your left side. Look for the beautiful blue tiles and large entrance.
