Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Registan Square, walk towards the west along Timur Malik Street. Continue straight for approximately 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Bukhara Street. Turn left onto Bukhara Street and walk for another 300 meters. You will see the Sherdor Madrassah on your right side, marked by its iconic turquoise domes and intricate tile work.

    From the Shah-i-Zinda Complex, exit the complex and turn right onto the main road. Walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Bukhara Street. Turn right onto Bukhara Street, and continue walking for approximately 600 meters. Sherdor Madrassah will be on your left, easily identifiable by its stunning façade.

    Starting from the Samarkand Bazaar (Siab Bazaar), exit the market and head east towards the main road. Cross the road and take the path leading to Timur Malik Street. Walk straight for about 1.2 kilometers. When you reach the intersection with Bukhara Street, turn left. Continue for another 300 meters, and you will find Sherdor Madrassah on your right.
