From the Apostolic Palace, exit the building and head towards St. Peter's Square. Walk straight across the square towards the colonnades. Continue walking straight until you reach the Via della Conciliazione. Turn right on Via della Conciliazione and continue walking until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. Once you are on the other side, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via di Torre Argentina. Turn left onto Via di Torre Argentina and walk until you reach Largo di Torre Argentina. From here, take the bus number 81 towards 'Aurelia' and get off at the 'Appia Antica' stop. After getting off the bus, walk along Via Appia Antica for about 10 minutes, and you will find the Catacombe di San Callisto on your right at Via Appia Antica, 110/126.
