Walking
From the Sistine Chapel, exit the Vatican Museums and head towards the main entrance of the Vatican City. Once you reach the entrance, turn left and walk towards Piazza San Pietro (St. Peter's Square). Continue walking along Via della Conciliazione until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the bridge called Ponte Sant'Angelo. Once you cross the bridge, follow the road to the right (Via di San Giovanni in Laterano) and continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Lungara. Turn left onto Via della Lungara and continue until you reach Piazza di Santa Cecilia. The Basilica di Santa Cecilia in Trastevere will be located at number 22 in the square.

Public Transport
From the Sistine Chapel, walk back to the Vatican Museums entrance. Head to the nearest bus stop called 'Piazza San Pietro.' Take bus number 64 towards Termini. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop called 'Piazza Venezia.' From there, transfer to tram number 8 (direction Casaletto) at the nearby tram stop. Ride the tram for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop called 'Trastevere/Mastai.' Walk straight on Via di San Francesco a Ripa, and then take a right onto Piazza di Santa Cecilia. The Basilica di Santa Cecilia will be at number 22 in the square.
