Exit the Sistine Chapel and make your way back to the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. Once outside, turn right and walk towards the main road, Viale Vaticano. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Crescenzio. Turn left onto Via Crescenzio and walk until you reach the large intersection with Via Cola di Rienzo. Cross the street and continue straight on Via Cola di Rienzo. Follow this street until you reach Piazza San Pietro. From there, head towards Via della Conciliazione and keep walking straight until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. Once on the other side, turn left and walk along the riverbank until you reach the next bridge, Ponte Sisto. Cross this bridge and turn right onto Via di Ponte Sisto. Continue straight until you reach Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere, where the Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere is located.

Continue walking straight until you reach the large intersection with Via di Torre Argentina.
