From the entrance of Vatican Necropolis, head towards the main exit of the Vatican Museums. Once you exit, turn left and walk towards the Via di Porta Angelica. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Via di San Pietro. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach Piazza San Pietro (St. Peter's Square). From Piazza San Pietro, continue walking towards the Via della Conciliazione. At the end of the square, you will see the Church of San Pietro in Montorio directly across the street at Piazza di S. Pietro in Montorio, 3.

If you are starting from the Vatican Gardens, exit the gardens and head towards the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. From there, follow the same directions as above: turn left onto Via di Porta Angelica, continue to the roundabout, take the second exit onto Via di San Pietro, and proceed to Piazza San Pietro. The Church of San Pietro in Montorio will be just a short walk away from the square.

From the Castel Sant'Angelo, exit the castle and walk towards the bridge (Ponte Sant'Angelo). Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach Via della Conciliazione.
