    From the Sistine Chapel, exit the Vatican Museums and head towards the main entrance. Once outside, turn right and walk towards the entrance of St. Peter's Basilica. Continue walking along the Via della Conciliazione, which will lead you straight towards the Tiber River. At the river, turn left and walk along the riverbank until you reach the Ponte Sant'Angelo. Cross the bridge and keep walking straight until you reach the Piazza Navona. From there, continue walking straight and take the first left onto Via di Santa Maria dell'Anima. Follow this street until you reach Via Appia Antica. The Catacombs of Saint Sebastian will be located at Via Appia Antica, 136. It is approximately a 45-minute walk, so wear comfortable shoes.

    Starting from the Sistine Chapel, exit and walk to the nearest metro station, Ottaviano (Line A). Board the metro train in the direction of Anagnina. After about 5 stops, get off at the station called Termini. At Termini, transfer to Line B and take the metro towards Laurentina. Get off at the station called Colosseo. From there, you can take bus 81 or 87 towards San Giovanni and get off at the stop called 'Appia Antica'. The Catacombs of Saint Sebastian are a short walk from the bus stop. This journey may take around 30 to 40 minutes, including transfer times.
